AIRO

Use case

Delivery route planning for local fleets

Local delivery businesses (bakeries, food distributors, retailers, pharmacies) run the same routing problem every morning. AIRO turns the delivery list into a validated, optimized plan.

The daily planning problem

Orders arrive overnight. By early morning someone must decide which van takes which orders, in what sequence, and make sure every customer window is respected.

What good delivery planning needs

  • Orders grouped sensibly by geography
  • Load that fits each vehicle
  • Customer time windows respected
  • A clear, printable sheet for each driver
  • A way to compare today's plan with an alternative

How AIRO helps

Upload the day's orders, validate addresses and constraints, optimize for the vehicles you have available and export per-driver sheets. When the answer to “what if a van is out of service?” is one more run instead of an hour of rework, planning gets calmer.

Built for 3 to 30 vehicles

AIRO focuses on small and mid-sized fleets with a single depot. Multi-depot planning is on the roadmap, not in the first release.

Frequently asked questions

Can I optimize routes from an Excel file?

Yes. AIRO is built around the spreadsheet you already use. Upload an Excel (.xlsx) or CSV file with your orders and vehicles, map your columns, fix any validation issues, and run the optimization. You do not need to reformat your file into a rigid template.

Can AIRO handle time windows?

Yes. Time windows are a core constraint in the optimization engine. You provide an earliest and latest arrival per stop, and the engine plans routes that respect them. Stops that cannot be served within their window are reported as unassigned, with the reason, instead of being silently dropped.

Can AIRO optimize multiple vehicles?

Yes. The engine plans multiple vehicles from a single depot, respecting each vehicle's capacity, and balances the work across the fleet. Multi-depot routing is on the roadmap and is not part of the first release.

Can I export routes for drivers?

Yes. You can export Excel or CSV files with one sheet or file per vehicle, including stop order, addresses, planned arrival times and optional map links and driver instructions.
